Password Expiry Period Settings

You can set password expiration dates for all users in your organization.
If the specified expiration date is exceeded since the password was last set, the password change screen is displayed when the user logs in.

Change procedure

  1. Click [Global Menu] () > [Settings]
  2. Click [Security Settings] > [Password Expiry Period Settings] > [Edit]
  3. Change [Set Password Expiry Period for all users of organization] to [On]
  4. Enter the number of days in half-width numbers in [Expiry period(days)].
  5. Click [Save]

Release procedure

  1. Click [Global Menu] () > [Settings]
  2. Click [Security Settings] > [Password Expiry Period Settings] > [Edit]
  3. Change [Set Password Expiry Period for all users of organization] to [Off]
  4. Click [Save]

Caution

  • Password invalidation is performed at the next night after the [Expiry period(days)] has passed since Password was last modified.
  • Resetting the password will delete the session and logged out of the mobile app and the multifunction devices application.

Two Factor Authentication Settings

You can have all users belonging to your organization set up Two Factor Authentication(TFA).
If you enable the settings, users who have not set up TFA will be prompted to set up TFA on their next login.

Change procedure

  1. Click [Global Menu] () > [Settings]
  2. Click [Security Settings] > [Two Factor Authentication Settings] > [Edit]
  3. Change [Set TFA for all users of organization] to [On]
  4. Click [Save]

Release procedure

  1. Click [Global Menu] () > [Settings]
  2. Click [Security Settings] > [Two Factor Authentication Settings] > [Edit]
  3. Change [Set TFA for all users of organization] to [Off]
  4. Click [Save]

Caution

  • Even if [Set TFA for all users of organization] is set to [Off],
    the authentication settings for users who have already set TFA will not be canceled.

SAML Authentication Settings

You can configure SAML Authentication for logins of all users belonging to your organization.

Change procedure

  1. Click [Global Menu] () > [Settings]
  2. Click [Security Settings] > [SAML Authentication Settings] > [Edit]
  3. Change [Set SAML authentication] to [On]
  4. Enter the [Provider Name].
  5. Enter the [SAML Metadata URL].
  6. Enter the [Login URL].
  7. Enter the [Logout URL].
  8. Click [Save]

Release procedure

  1. Click [Global Menu] () > [Settings]
  2. Click [Security Settings] > [SAML Authentication Settings] > [Edit]
  3. Change [Set SAML authentication] to [Off]
  4. Click [Save]

IP address restriction (Secure Access)

Summary

By specifying the IP address range, you can only allow access to Cards R from the specified IP address.
In order to use this function, you need to contract "Secure Access" option.

Access from Cards R Mobile App is not restricted.
Access from mobile application can be managed with Settings > Mobile settings.

Add IP address

You can add a range of IP addresses to allow access.

Procedure

  1. Click [Global Menu] () > [Settings]
  2. Click [Security Settings] > [+]
  3. Input a range of IP addresses.
  4. Click [Add]

Edit IP address

You can edit a range of IP addresses to allow access.

Procedure

  1. Click [Global Menu] () > [Settings]
  2. Click [Security Settings] > (Select a row of it) > [Edit]
  3. Edit a range of IP addresses.
  4. Click [Edit]

Delete IP address

You can delete a range of IP addresses to allow access.

Procedure

  1. Click [Global Menu] () > [Settings]
  2. Click [Security Settings] > (Select a row of it) > [Delete]
  3. Click [Delete]

Caution Restrictions

  • Please set the range of allowed IP addresses includes "Currently accessed IP address".
  • A warning dialog will be displayed when saving a setting that does not include "Currently accessed IP address".
  • If you specify a wrong IP address range, Cards R administrator can cancel the setting.
