Add New Contacts
You can add a new contact using the photo of a card taken with the camera or a photo stored in your device.
Add New Contact
- Tap [＋] icon.
- Capture card: put the card on the inside of the camera screen and tap the camera icon.
- Using stored image: tap [Album] icon in the camera page and select an image.
Confirm Added Contact
The added contacts are only listed in the unconfirmed contact list.
After the extraction of card information finishes, name, company, branch/belong to, and Job Title are shown.
After the image process finishes, the thumbnail image is updated.
Settings
- Shared: Set the adding contacts shared or private.
To set private, set it off.
- Background Cleaning: Uneven lighting will be fixed and the background of the card will be cleaned.
When you wish to keep the darkness or color tone of the photo image, turn [Background Cleaning] off in [Settings].
- Crop Margin: The crop-margin function is turned on by default.
Turn [Crop Margin] off in [Settings] when you wish to keep the margin.
- Language of card: Select OCR language [JA/EN/Auto].
For Better Text Recognition
Take the photo under a uniform and sufficient lighting.
Use a dark background and try to get as less margin as possible.
However, make sure that the edges of the card are not cut.
Hold the camera parallel to the card.
The image can be straightened at upload, but it is better to have less distortion to start with.
